Cut From Heaven's Design

Lyrics

[Verse 1] Some folks just shine a little brighter, Carry a light that won't run dry, Faith in their hands, love in their eyes, Working hard beneath God's sky. And when I count the gifts I'm given, There's a name I keep held high. [Chorus] Oh Carey, you're one of a kind, A daughter cut from heaven's design, Devoted and steady, faithful and true, There's no one on earth quite like you. Carey, you're a blessing to me, The pride and the joy of this family. [Verse 2] First you found Karl, hand in hand, Then Asher came, part of the plan, And little Micah made you three, A perfect, whole, and happy family. Through every season, through it all, You answered every quiet call. [Chorus] Oh Carey, you're one of a kind, A daughter cut from heaven's design, Devoted and steady, faithful and true, There's no one on earth quite like you. Carey, you're a blessing to me, The pride and the joy of this family. [Bridge] No special day, no reason why, Just love that's built to never die. A child of God, so strong and free, You mean the whole wide world to me. [Verse 3] So here's a song to say I see you, Every prayer and dream come true, The way you love, the way you give, The beautiful life you chose to live. Keep on shining, keep that fire, You lift us higher and higher. [Chorus] Oh Carey, you're one of a kind, A daughter cut from heaven's design, Devoted and steady, faithful and true, There's no one on earth quite like you. [Outro] Just because, I'm telling you now, You're loved beyond measure, and how.
